Well, isn’t this the most depressing January!? 🥶😷
How are you all holding up? Apologies if you follow me for copywriting content. I have found it incredibly hard to find inspiration and motivation for work these past couple of months.

However, there are a few things that have brought me joy recently:

✨ My toddler who has suddenly become such an independent little person. He puts groceries in the trolley like a pro now, it’s actually helpful. 😅

✨ We’re moving house in February and we will completely furnish this place. This is new for us as we’ve been living in already furnished or minimal student accommodation for the past 10 years. Lots of thrifting and trips to furniture stores coming up! 🤩

✨ Watching Dawson’s Creek on Netflix. Things were just simpler as a teenager in the 90s! 😎

Really hoping that you are able to feel a sense of summer within you these days! ☀️🌻💛

During the first lockdown I was wondering how I am going to muddle through isolation with a toddler. Now I’m thinking how will HE cope with spending all day with only adults? I know that everyone carries their own burden during this pandemic. But I think we don’t give children and teens enough credit for what they’ve been through these past months. Their social life has been put on hold, routines thrown out of the window, when we know that particularly small children thrive on a certain rhythm to their day.
⁣
During this pandemic children have put up with a lot for the protection of adults.
⁣
I really hope that this is the final push; that us adults can soon go back to protecting children, not the other way round. 🙏
Woke up to a world covered in icing sugar. 😍 M Woke up to a world covered in icing sugar. 😍

My battery has been running low since November, so I’m keeping it brief: thanks for sticking around and supporting me during this crazy year.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a happier new year! 🎄🕯🌟
Feeding a toddler is hard work, especially when yo Feeding a toddler is hard work, especially when you work from home and look after your child at the same time. So here’s a bit of inspiration. ☺️ We have fish fingers, potatoes and peas at least once a week. It’s quick and easy to prepare since most of the ingredients can be stored in the freezer, and it’s fairly healthy too. Plus point: my toddler will actually eat it, swipe for the aftermath. 😅
What’s your go-to family meal?
If raising kids is not for wimps under normal cir If raising kids is not for wimps under normal circumstances, then what’s raising kids like during a pandemic?! 🤪
My heart goes out to all the parents who’ve been struggling to keep it together this year. It’s been a tough one. 🤍
